Can you fit yourself for a breast prosthesis?

With a little help from us and a bit of patience, yes! We are always here to help you but we know that it’s not always possible to get into one of our locations. We also understand that it might be nice to try on products in the comfort of your own home. So, here it goes… tips and tricks for prosthesis fitting:

1. Make sure you like the bra you are wearing or order a few to try on in your size (see the sizing application on our website). If you don’t like the bra, you’re probably not going to like the fit of a form in a bra.

2. Decide which types of forms you want to have in your wardrobe. Do you need a beaded, puff or foam form for sleeping, light recreation or just to run errands? Will you need a swim or yoga prosthesis like the Activeflow form? Do you want a form that will help keep you cooler in the summer? Most women want to have several types of forms to switch in and out of their bras, swimwear and active wear.

3. Ok, now for the somewhat tricky part… Breast forms come in sizes 1-16. They do not come cup-sized (i.e. A, B, C, D). So, you’ll need to enter your bra size into our online calculator to get the suggested form size. Ta-Da!

4. Now, order a few forms that you think you might like to try with your bras and we’ll get them to you ASAP!
